WELCOME TO THE CAPITAL REGION
The Capital Region "Regionalization Transition" is official ly underway. The Regional efforts are being l ed by Karen Gladstone as the Capital Region Liaison. You can contact Karen for information and assistance at kgladstone@nyso.org or by office phone at 518.388.0790 x129. This transitional phase will continue through the entire 2009 program year. Karen's initial efforts will be to support the current Area Committees and most importantly to identify and establish relationships with all the Capital Region stakeholders; including Training Clubs, Athletes, Coaches and Key Lead Committee Volunteers. Among the first action items will include the ongoing collection of contact information of each coach and key volunteer and the formation of a Regional Transition Committee. The most useful outcome relat ed to the collection of contact information will be the regular delivery of a bi-weekly regional program e-mail update. The organization is excit ed to be moving the Capital District Region forward.
